Due to the constant bad weather conditions the hull of the mts ' Emile ' still cannot leave from shipyard. After the long winter period with severe frost temperatures. Springtime came very sudden. The raise in temperatures overnight and this resulted in a flooded ship yard. Instead of an old fashioned launching the people at the yard had to do all they could to keep the barge on site.

There are three new ships on the way. Two double hull chemical tankers - mtb ' Louis' and ' Emile' each with a capacity of approximately 1,400 tons. They are built at the shipyard of Veka at Werkendam. The third ship is 3500 tons double hull tanker with extra low air draft, mtb 'Melvin'. This last one is at present at Raamsdonkveer. We expect that the barge 'Louis' and 'Melvin' will be operational sometime in April 2006.
